Christi Jefferds is the Lead Epidemiologist for Northern Kentucky Institute for Strategic Prevention (NKISP).
Christi has served for the past 25 years as an elementary teacher and principal, and most recently a middle school principal. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from Xavier University, a Master in Teaching from City University, and a Master’s degree in Instructional Leadership and Superintendent certification from Northern Kentucky University. Prior to becoming an educator, Christi served as an officer in the US Army.
Her current role as Lead Epidemiologist at NKISP involves analyzing multiple sources of data to determine youth substance misuse trends and identifying appropriate evidence-based resources to address them as part of a comprehensive support program for our NKCES member schools.
