In Development: Best Practices for Substance Use and Suicide Prevention
Youth Mental Health First Aid In-Person Training, offered on 5/16 (Grant Co. Extension Office), 6/13 (NKY Health Dept), and 11/07 (NKY Health Dept) in conjunction with Mental Health America, will equip adults who regularly interact with youth ages 6-18 to identify and address mental health crises. Appropriate for teachers, counselors, administrators, school nurses, SROs, FRYSCs, paraeducators, parents and any other school staff. EILA and FRYSC hours are available. Lunch provided by our community partners St. Elizabeth and WellCare!
CATCH My Breath is the only evidence-based youth nicotine vaping prevention program for grades 5-12 that has been proven to substantially reduce students’ likelihood of vaping. A study of the program’s effectiveness was published in a peer-reviewed journal and the program is listed in SAMHSA’s Evidence-Based Resource Guide Series. Contact us to schedule your free training!
